The first unit in PE this year was Adventure Challenge. Students worked together to solve difficult problems in pairs, groups, and as a whole class. Their social and communication skills were truly put to the test! Students practiced displaying the Learner Profile attributes of being Open-minded and Reflective when cooperating with their teammates.

- Capture the Gold: In pairs, students had to guide their blind-folded partner to collect gold - aka beanbags - and bring them back to their own hoop.
- Balloon Sandwich: In groups, students had to travel from one side to another with a balloon sandwiched between their belly and the person in front of them without touching or dropping the balloon.
- Human Square: As a class, students had to form a square on the gym floor while blindfolded, only using their words and sense of touch.
